Classroom-Based High School Program

Welcome to
Black Gold Classroom-Based Summer School!

We offer a full range of academic courses to help students prepare for upcoming classes, earn credits toward a high school diploma, upgrade or repeat a course. Summer School students will be able to complete a 5-credit course in only four weeks. Classes will run Monday through Friday, July 2 – July 26, 2024 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m, please note that PE 10 will start on July 1, 2024. As these courses are condensed, students are expected to attend all 80 hours of in-class instruction. They should also expect to complete one to two hours of homework each afternoon in order to keep up with the pace of instruction.

Please Note:

  • Students must have achieved a minimum of 50% in the prerequisite course. Grades will be verified after June mark submission.
  • Full attendance is very important for the completion of these courses. Please do not book holidays in July if you are planning on attending Summer School.
  • Only one core course may be completed in summer school between both the Module-Based program and the Classroom-Based program.
  • Important:  Courses that have less than 8 students will be combined or may be offered in our Module-Based program.
